Mailbox by Dustin Waller:
After hurricane Katrina, an eerie but common site. Down one of the water front roads several mailboxes placed by the street like this one. So the insurance companies would know where the house used to stand.
Artist Bio: Dustin lives in an old loft in downtown Rockford, IL an unlikely setting for a up and coming artist and photographer. After graduating from college he picked up an old 35mm camera and started exploring the art of photography. After a summer of beach bumming and work in Waveland, MS. after hurricane Katrina he has developed an eye for finding beauty and meaning in the common things in life. His photo journalistic touch captures places, events and moments in time for others to experience. Whether the ravage of Hurricane Katrina or the tranquility of still water, you will be immersed in that world through his photos.
