and contemporary
furniture designer. Bertoia
was inspired by nature and it
showed in his creations. As a
sculptor, Bertoia
created abstract freestanding
metal works, some of which

touched or had moving elements
that chimed in the wind. Bertoia’s

included the famous metal lawn
collection. This collection
was made out of shiny metals
to reflect the wonderful
